Digital Folklore, Stories, and Mapping Course

Are you interested in folklore, oral history, local customs and traditions with a focus on peatland landscapes? Then this free online course is for you!

This 8-week online course, delivered by Irish artist and folklorist Michael Fortune, looks at the use of digital skills in the recording, sharing and research of folkloric topics and stories.

Places are limited to community groups with a focus on peatlands in the Wider Midlands Region (Kildare, Laois, Offaly, Longford, Westmeath, Roscommon, North Tipperary, and East Galway). 

The course will commence on Thursday 14 March and will take place at the same time each week for the duration.
